About The Role

Due to internal promotions, the Early Years Alliance is excited to offer two rewarding opportunities to join our Business Development team as Early Years Development Officers, one of which will have a dedicated SEND focus.

About the Role

 Home-based with a blend of virtual and face-to-face training delivery.  You’ll contribute to the design and delivery of engaging, relevant training that supports educators in their professional journey.  One role will focus specifically on SEND, helping to strengthen inclusive practice across the sector.

About You

You’ll have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent and an adult teaching qualification.

Strong knowledge of child development and the early years sector is essential.

You’ll be confident delivering training and passionate about empowering others.

Main duties include:

  • To develop, coordinate and undertake the delivery of high-quality training for Early Years Settings, through face to face and virtual delivery platforms.
  • To promote and support the growth and retention of membership and insurance to the early years sector.
  • To develop resources to support high quality practice in the early years sector
  • To lead network sessions that are provided to the early years sector
  • To support and attend internal and external in person events
  • To support the Business Development Directorate with the income generation strategy, which will include assisting with funding applications
  • To develop relationships with local partnerships such as, local authorities, education, health departments and other voluntary agencies.

All successful applicants will be required to register and subscribe with the DBS Update Service (if you have not already done so) or undertake a new enhanced disclosure and barring check.

Hours: 35 per week
